We had a wonderful stay! Teresa was always quick to respond to any questions, which made everything so easy. The house was spotless—really clean and comfortable—and in a great location for exploring the area. We thoroughly recommend staying here and would happily return.

Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this great property- the direct access to the beach is very special - and the house is a real home, furnished for comfortable living rather than rental. Lots of gorgeous walks near by - great golf course up the road, handy EV charging point 2 mins walk away, and Ashford designer shopping outlet 30 mins drive away.

Sheila’s house feels like a home the moment you step inside. It’s roomy and bright throughout. We all loved the place including the young grandchildren who spent ages in the garden amusing themselves. The kitchen is packed with masses of everything you could think of and as we cook this was brilliant. As all the adults have stressful busy lives this break was so relaxing, just what was needed. As a birder I highly recommend Pegwell reserve for a great walk and great birdwatching. Highly recommended.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub hier. Alles war wie beschrieben und zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist wirklich sehr schön, nah am Meer und trotzdem sehr ruhig gelegen, so dass man sich bestens erholen kann. Alles was man braucht ( Bäcker, Supermarkt…) ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung ist gemütlich und sehr geschmackvoll und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Insbesondere die Küchenausstattung ist hochwertig und sehr umfangreich, so dass es an nichts fehlt. Sehr begeistert waren wir von der netten Gastgeberin Blandine. Sie reagierte flexibel auf unsere Ankunftszeit, so dass wir nicht warten mussten, war immer erreichbar, sehr herzlich und liebenswürdig. Wir haben uns rundherum wohl gefühlt und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We were totally awestruck when we arrived. The house. The location. The view. Fabulous. The house had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning.

Good value and most importantly, Alka who I think works with Bijou was the most responsive and helpful host I’ve experienced on Airbnb. Alka even helped with the heating externally which I really appreciated because my dad is 70 years old with Parkinson’s. Thank you so much Alka and team.

Well equipped accommodation in a quiet location close to the sea. Well decorated and spotlessly clean. Local Premier store 5 minute’s walk away for groceries and papers. Excellent base for exploring the coast, in four days we walked from Whitstable to Herne Bay, Margate and Broadstairs catching the train back .Circa £14 for 4 singles. Ruth is a first class host and very quick to respond.

As we walked in my son said ‘wow’ and that was all of our reaction! We have stayed in a caravan on this site before but this was a lodge and it was so much bigger! Great living space, 2 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a veranda! 40min lovely walk along the beach/promenade into Whistable and great foodie pub just across the road (the Oyster Pearl). We had a great couple of nights here, we wished we had booked longer!

Nick is a fabulous host. Nothing is a problem for Nick. The local restaurant recommendations were spot on. The house is gorgeous, perfect for our family of four. The carefully thought out home had everything…and I mean everything you could wish for! Beds are very comfortable, space is carefully planned and utilised. Bathroom is fantastic, lots of towels! Thanks Nick, see you again we hope!

We've stayed a Ross's place a few times over the last 5 years. The location on the edge of the caravan park is lovely and peaceful with views across fields. The caravan is very comfortable, warm and has everything we need. There's lot's to do in the Camber and Rye area, there are still a few things on our list we would like to see. Lots of lovely places to eat. I thoroughly recommend this place and great value for money too! Thanks Ross!

Fantastic location, beautiful and comfy house. Perfect for a large family get-away. Games room was good fun and the garden was perfect in the sunshine. The pebble beach is just a few minutes walk away and access to the Cliff walk is easy as well.

This stay has been nothing but perfection! The lodge is so warm, inviting, and cozy. It’s spotless and has all the utensils you’d need. We’re already looking at dates to return! Thank you so much.

A gorgeous place to stay and very clean. The showers were a little temperamental temperature wise but Rachel was very responsive and helpful when asked about it

Had such a lovely time in this gorgeous house. The garden is huge and absolutely stunning with an amazing barbecue that was in pristine condition. The house is really well equipped and excellently located. The host was amazing and had provided lovely finishing touches around the house to make us feel so welcome. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommend.

Island View was a fab place to stay and Lorna was a 5* host! All was cleaned and tidy, accurately described with easy to find instructions Herne Bay was new to us, but walks to Whitstable, fabulous views, sea swimming at Margate, etc, etc made us really want to return Thanks for everything Lorna!!

We stayed here for a week and it was a great location for us , the property was warm , clean and relaxing during our stay . Will definitely stay again when back in Hastings. Thank you .

We had the best time staying at Ben’s place. We’ve visited Margate many times and this place just topped off a great NYE visit. The place was even better than the photos and we felt at home immediately. The art and decor was stunning, beautiful design whilst also feeling cosy. Would love to visit again in the future. We had a wonderful stay at Sandpipers. The bungalow had everything we needed, with high-spec finishes, luxurious linen, towels, and incredibly comfortable beds. The space was spotless, cozy, and all on one level, which was perfect for my elderly parents. The lounge and sofa were a bit of a tight squeeze, but we were only four people, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The private, secluded garden was a lovely bonus for relaxing outdoors. The hosts were fantastic—very responsive and helpful. We had one small question during our stay, and it was answered instantly. We also enjoyed dining in Rye every evening—just 10 minutes away—where we discovered some great restaurants. All in all, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend Sandpipers for a well-equipped stay near the beach!

Bright, clean and comfortable and only a short walk to the beach. One of the bedrooms has a great book collection. Something to note, the kitchen is a little sparse, with no hob or oven, only a microwave and air fryer. Carly very friendly and easy to deal with.
