Staying at the hobbit hole was so much fun!! You can tell that so much love and attention has been put into the space. It’s quirky, fun, and glamping at its best! Sheryn had everything you’d need for cooking including -firewood/starters, matches, cooking utensils etc! Even marshmallows and drinking chocolate! I wasn’t sure what to expect from this spot but the pictures on AirBnB don’t do it justice! Book it! It was so much fun to stay here!

The Pumice house is one of the most creative places I’ve stayed on Airbnb. Evan’s tiny house is a perfect balance of design and utility. There was always a fun detail to explore, I especially loved the glass reveal that showed the inner workings of the construction. The house is cozy, with a peaceful fish pond at the front patio that makes it feel secluded from the surrounding neighborhood. The rooms were quite spacious and heated pebble bathroom floor was very nice. Evan was incredibly kind and communicative. He was always available if we had questions and just a really personable guy!

A lovely, unique home with everything you need for a weekend away. Close to the beach and very peaceful. Perfectly set up for a group. Would definitely recommend.

Notre séjour au Hobbit House fut au delà de nos attentes! L’environnement était exceptionnel et très chaleureux. Janice a été d’une grande gentillesse. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à discuter avec elle. Les animaux sont adorables et ajoutent un sentiment de bien être à ce lieu mémorable. Merci Janice pour ton bel accueil, nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps. En espérant pouvoir revenir vous voir un jour.

A slice of heaven! Rachel’s place is unique and beautiful. The view is outstanding. The stars at night are amazing. Lots of birds and 3 friendly chickens. Well stocked ! Charlotte was helping Rachel and she was an absolute delight. Very helpful. I would not hesitate on this property. It’s so relaxing. It’s 1.5 hours to Abel Tasman or Nelson Lakes. Is you plan to do multiple days at Abel Tasman you may want to stay closer to the park. Book this property you won’t regret !!!

This was such a special Airbnb. Nothing quite prepared us for the beautiful view of the bay and it felt like such an adventure to stay here, whilst still having some comforts like a hot shower and a barbecue! The drive can be tricky if you don’t have a 4x4 but definitely worth it for the view and privacy. The midges and mosquitos are a little annoying, probably because we were there in summer, but the bug spray provided is a very helpful touch. Overall we wished we could have stayed longer

This place suited us perfectly with rustic and meditative charm. We valued the tranquil private location along with great communication with Saskia. amazing outdoor shower with comfortable bed and warm cozy lounge by the fire. We are looking forward to our next visit.
