Highcliffe Castle is a10-15 minute stroll along from Avon Beach and a zig zag path takes you up to the castle There is a cafe to have coffee,cakes and light lunch then you can still back through the woods to Avon Beach

See where Mr Selfridge used to live. Take a tour of the castle, then finish up with a delicious cream tea in the castle tea-rooms. From here take a walk down the zig-zag to the beach, or along the cliff top through Steamer Point nature reserve.
