Multnomah Falls and other waterfalls and vistas of the Columbia Gorge are astonishing icons of geology, the sort that have inspired mythology and lore of warriors, gods and passions. We will drive out in our vans to meet the tallest waterfall in the state, and then drive to a few of the shorter but even more stunning ones, too; falls which could only be the daughters and sons of legend. In this half-day experience, we will explore wonders with some short hikes (totaling less than 2.5 miles/4 km) and visits to overlooks and vistas that will have you gasping in awe. While Multnomah Falls and its iconic Benson Bridge are together the most-visited tourist attraction in the Portland area, they are only a part of our experience. We will meet at our shop in inner SE Portland, where we'll ride in our comfortable Sprinter and Transit vans to the nearby gorge. Depending on weather conditions, we will visit a few small hidden waterfalls and spectacular plunge-style falls whose columnar basalt has us learning words for "amazing" in other languages. We'll also tell you stories, geology, botany and oft-repeated tales of pioneers and road-builders, but also the old stories we've learned, of gods and wild spirits and about the oldest North American civilization, forever altered by “manifest destiny." Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. This hike is a carefully selected pack of our own German Shepherds. We do not allow visiting dogs to join on the pack hike. Children under two years old are FREE

We are Liberty Hill Farm, in Rochester, Vermont! Tours run Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 9 am. Our farm tours are scheduled to coincide with daily chores to allow guests the opportunity to experience daily farm life. Guests will be able to watch the cow milking process and even try their hand at milking! From there, we will explain the journey from cow to milk jug. Guests will learn about the different ages and stages of the dairy cow, from birth through adulthood. We will meet, pet, and even feed baby calves, explore the barns, and meet kitties. Every tour is adjusted to meet the needs and interests of our guests. We encourage our guests to participate hands-on, and encourage questions and ideas! We simply love to share our love of farming and our animals with others! ***All proceeds from our farm tours go directly to our nonprofit organization, Liberty Hill Center for Agricultural Education. *** Other things to note: I only book about a month in advance, so if your preferred date does not appear, check back! Tours will be held rain or shine! I only cancel if temperatures are below zero, so please plan accordingly! It is up to the guest to check weather reports. You will meet me at Blu Q the sailing catamaran to the left of the Dock Masters office. We will depart from the dock located at the Historic Seaport. We will head out on the water to an area which provides a year round home for about 200 wild Bottlenose Dolphins. This is my moment to share the wonders of these marine mammals with you, while always operating my vessel in a manner that is safe and respectful of the dolphins and their need for space. With the right know-how I can usually find dolphins in under an hour and in calm waters. After observing the dolphins many different behaviors from the boat we will head to one of my favorite spots to snorkel with sponges, coral heads or a patch reef. I will take you to the best place with the best visibility that day. My mate will be your guide, leading you around a calm snorkeling spot and point out animals that make our ecosystem unique and answer any questions that you have. Check in at the HONEST ECO boat Blu Q. If you are driving down the keys the day of the trip just remember it is a road that is only one way in and one way out. One accident on that road can hold you up for the day. We do not issue refunds if you miss the boat. It is best to ride a bike in Key West or take a cab. Lastly, the marina parking lot is around $20 to $30 for the day. It can fill up in the afternoons please plan accordingly! Thank you!

Immersive tea tasting in our little tea house, featuring different tabletop flower arrangements and aromatherapy every week!. There will be Chinese style tea art demonstrations and on certain holidays Guzheng ( Chinese musical instrument) performances. Guests will choose between black tea, oolong tea, yellow tea, green tea, dark tea and scented teas from China at different tea tasting times. I have been in touch with tea since I was 10 years of age and it has always been a part of my life. I am a landscape architect and an enthusiastic tea artist. After I moved to America, my partner and husband Joseph singlehandedly built the tea house for me, according to my design. Everything including the slab table was made by Joseph over a period of two years. Now I would like to share with others this tea house full of love energy and my love of Chinese tea, the etiquette of drinking tea and interesting stories of China.

Let’s spend the day playing with clay and learning together. Here we have options based around your skill level and interests. I can lead you on the potters wheel or in hand building techniques. For an additional cost of $25 per person I will fire your projects in my kiln and you can choose a glaze color for your finished pieces. Ever been interested in trying your hand at blowing glass? Join me in my flameworking studio and learn how to make your first piece of glass art at Chadly Glass Studio! I’m a professional borosilicate glass blower with over 10 years of experience and offer hands-on, beginner's classes in inner SE Portland. In this introductory group class, students will be taught basic glass blowing safety, skills, and will have the opportunity to create 2-3 pieces of glass art: a mushroom sculpture, wine bottle stopper or pendant, and a small blown ornament. This class may be shared with other individuals (up to 6 participants per class). Class duration is approximately 3 hours. Students get to keep any glass they create, and gain knowledge and hands-on experience in a very unique field. *Glass made during lesson will require kilning for durability, which takes a minimum of 4 hours. Most students choose to pick up the glass they made the next day (or at their earliest convenience).* ** Participants are required to sign a liability waiver prior to instruction. Minimum age requirement is 14 years old. Participants between ages 14-17 must have their parent/guardian present for the duration of the class. Every parrot has a story. You’ll learn all about our rainbow-colored rescues in Kona’s only parrot sanctuary. We’ll start with our mission: to give every displaced parrot a nutritious diet, large space to fly, and a safe place to interact with other parrots (and people). Next, we'll take a walk around the sanctuary, where you can get to know the range of personalities of cockatoos, lovebirds, macaws, and more species. Throughout the tour, you will have many photo opportunities, especially with our well-trained parrots. Other things to note: Wear casual clothes, closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and bring a camera. Parrots in Paradise Sanctuary is also home to two rescue dogs, two Holstein cows and two sulcata tortoise. While we like to keep our group sizes small to enhance a personal experience, we are open to hosting larger family/friend groups with more than six individuals.

To many, the world of Hasidic Jews is shrouded in mystery and secrecy—well, not anymore. On this experience, you get to see first hand the daily lives, rituals, and customs of the Hasidic community, guided by a member of the community and being able to access places seemingly closed off and hidden to the outsider. An opportunity to be able to ask any questions about the Jewish faith, culture, and philosophy. We kick off the experience inside a Hasidic home, and learning about what it takes to keep a Kosher home. Then its off to the streets of Crown Heights, starting with exploring the world famous “770” Synagogue, getting a glimpse into the hustle and bustle of daily prayer services. Next stop is a Jewish scribe, seeing up close the intricate details involved in producing the Torah Scrolls. Followed by a walk down the avenue, visiting the local shops, and seeing the traditions dating back to the early 1800’s. You will help us free fly our falcons on the cliffs of La Jolla at the Torrey Pines Gliderport, a National Historical Place and beloved landmark. In our Experience, offered through Total Raptor Experience San Diego, you'll learn how to call and release one of our trained birds using a falconry glove, and admire their aerial skills while they soar above the cliffs. You'll get an up-close and personal view of their mastery of flight as they perform simulated hunting behaviors, swooping, ground-skimming and diving at high speed after a moving target. At the same time we will discuss raptor flight styles and how they contribute to the diverse ecologies of different types of hawks and falcons. There will be plenty of time for questions and pictures with our birds. My hope is to send you home with a new, or perhaps renewed, love for these majestic predators and the environment. We strive to integrate the natural wisdom of the llama with the cultural heritage of this intelligent creature by relating knowledge of the Andean cosmology and the Andean spiritual path. Here you will have the opportunity to meet, greet, interact with and communicate with our specially trained llama friends. This Experience is about llamas for wellness and educational proposes. We do believe in llamas as healers and messengers of Mother Nature (Pachamama). We want you to experience their medicine and help us on their training too. Safety is always top priority for guests and the llamas, so our program will be different on a winter day after a rainy week than it will be on a hot August afternoon. Please wear comfortable shoes and country clothing. We will put you into situations where you will be able to understand who these llamas are, personally discovering the different personalities that make up our herd. Other things to note We will introduce you to our "Speechless Brothers". Be prepared to learn all about llamas. They are smart, clean and personable. Let them know you are as well.

We'll get comfortable in our studio barn/workshop area, where you'll grab a glass of homemade wine from our organic orchard, wildcrafted herbal tea, and/or fruit-infused spring water from our bar before we get started. Once everyone is settled with a beverage, I'll do a quick demonstration to show you the techniques and procedures for making several different styles of rings. Then you'll get busy working hands-on with different tools and materials to create your own custom, unique ring exactly to your liking. I can provide as much support as necessary to help you to feel comfortable with the process and to create your desired outcome. We'll seal/finish your ring if necessary and you'll take it home with you at the end of the session. For those who are interested, you will also have an opportunity to tour our urban homestead and be immersed in the many endeavors we have going. Welcome aboard my boat! We will cruise around Miami Beach area where we will explore the bay where you will be able to see the luxury mansions of the rich and famous who choose to spend a few weeks or live here in Miami Beach. We will then drop anchor in a little bay close to some of the most expensive houses in Miami, allowing our sailors to swim in the shallow, crystal clear waters of Miami Bay if they wish, and then return to the original meeting point enjoying the air and views from the yacht while sunbathing on the bow of the boat or relaxing with your friends over a few beers as you are allowed to bring your own drinks and snacks on board. You will have a great time with us, you will make new friends and you might have the chance to see dolphins that love to swim alongside the boats. Please be aware that our experience takes place in one of the busiest areas of Miami Beach. If you come with your own vehicle, we recommend that you take an additional 15-20 minutes to find parking nearby. This experience brings this ancient axiom into light as participants will be lead through an explorative journey of the intimate connection between the Macrocosm-Microcosm using Astrology and Sound Healing. We will start with a discussion that will tune our awareness to the current planetary alignments of the zodiac and how they might be influencing us by way of Transpersonal Astrology. Following this, participants will be immersed in several different soundscapes created by 3 Planetary Gongs, accompanied by a variety of other complimentary healing instruments. Take a guided horseback riding tour on our 300+ acres of private mountain trails lead by an experienced guide. After signing up and meeting the horses, we will show you the skills you need to ride through our trails. You will be accompanied by an experienced trail guide the entire time. This is a beginner friendly ride, most of the ride is walking, we go at the pace of the least experienced rider in the group. If you would like to do some more trotting, don't want to ride in a group, or are experienced, we recommend booking a private ride. The ride itself is 1 hour long and is done in a western saddle. The minimum age is 7 years to ride. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests before booking!

Take a rest from the stress of the modern world and get ready to fall in love with group of energetic fun seeking Corgis as they take you on a unique journey to a special place where you find hidden dwellings and discover the secret treasure chests. BlissWood Forest is located in Coastal Maine one hour south of Acadia National Park. You will arrive at Corgi Bliss, in the town of Penobscot, on the edge of the forest. There you will meet your hosts, the Corgis along with Jennifer or Katie. Drinks will be offered, as well as a discussion about safety while walking with the corgis . We will set off on our journey through the fields, and into BlissWood Forest. The easy half-mile hike is well maintained and goes at a leisurely pace. The loose Corgis will be scurrying about ahead as they sniff the ground and try to pick up the scent of pixie dust. Help the Corgis find the hidden treasure chests and secret swellings along the path. We pause a lot for selfies, kisses and cuddles from the animals. Then we loop down the trail and return to Corgi Bliss, where drinks and snacks are to be had before saying our goodbyes. We will be outdoors in the fresh air and forest, wear layered clothing and shoes that protect your feet from the elements. Enjoy the earthy smells and forest sounds, and the corgis. For safety, only our dogs can join us on this hike. Children under two years are FREE!

Join Captain Joe for a relaxing private boat cruise over to our oyster farm where you will shuck and slurp oysters straight out of the water, and learn about our Shellfish Reef Restoration project. Feel free to bring along snacks and your favorite drink. I’ll make sure we have plenty of oysters and all the fixings for our favorite rum cocktail! This trip lasts 1.5-2 hours and is available for up to 6 people . Kids of all ages are welcome to come but I find that children ages 9+ get the most enjoyment out of this type of trip. I have a similar aquaculture trip that is designed for kids aged 4-13 if you are looking for a more family-friendly activity. I only host private groups and the total price including all fees is: $255 for up to 3 people, plus $85 for each additional person up to 6 max.

Join us for Goat Happy Hour at No Regrets Flower Farm & Animal Sanctuary in the Southern Willamette Valley wine country. Goat Happy Hour is a term that we've trademarked meaning goat therapy. It is all about getting outdoors in a beautiful setting, surrounding yourself with animals and disconnecting from stress. We start out walking with the goats on a tour of the farm. Our farm overlooks Green Peak, the 3rd highest peak on the Coastal Mountains. The historic Bellfountain church built in 1899 borders the farm and looks like a scene from a fairy tale. We are surrounded by grass farm fields, hazelnut orchards, and large old-growth Douglas Fir. The scenery in the Bellfountain Valley is stunning in every direction. After the tour we’re happy to hang around and take pictures for you or answer questions, or we we can leave you alone to wander the farm, relax, snuggle the animals and soak in the animal therapy in private. I am offering the perfect Las Vegas Strip experience for solo travelers, couples and groups, and families (as well as IG influencers and content creators) who want the perfect iconic Vegas photos! I will make sure that you get the perfect photos to show off your trip to Las Vegas. I will also share local insider tips for restaurants, shows, and off-Strip hidden gems. We will start by meeting at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino, where we will capture the perfect photo of the iconic Bellagio fountains (with the Eiffel Tower in the background). We will then cross Las Vegas Blvd and get a wide angle shot of the Eiffel Tower. Our tour will continue to the Flamingo Habitat for a must-have shot with the High Roller in the background. We will then make our way towards Caesar's Palace, where we will get photos with the Trevi Fountain. We will finish off with some shots in front of the Venetian Hotel and the famous gondolas. This tour will be conducted by walking (approximately a mile and a half from start to finish). I am happy to take photos with my own iPhone 15 PRO (complete with wide lens) or with your personal device or your professional camera (on private tours). I will also edit three of your favorite photos for you! You will leave this tour with social media worthy photos from all locations as well as new knowledge of the hotels and spots we visit.

*ATTN* You must be proficient in Swimming and Snorkeling to attend this experience. Aloha! Welcome to "Under The Sea " A Hawaiian Reef Spearfishing Adventure. In this lesson you will learn the Art form of Hawaiian Reef - Three Prong Spearfishing. You will also learn how to identify Hawaiian Endemic Reef Fish, as well as Exhilarating Techniques to catch your dinner, and provide for your Ohana (Family). Meeting Location will be around Anini Beach. ( Specific Location Instructions will be sent to you after booking ) Once united we will promptly begin with a 30 minute safety & educational briefing. After that we will walk to our entry point and partake in a Naupaka Cleansing Ceremony. (A Hawaiian tradition passed down through generations.) Next we will start our 90 minute dive, and experience Hawaii’s Largest Barrier Reef. If we're LUCKY we will come home with exciting stories, unforgettable memories, and some dinner for the family.
